Garlic Cilantro Rice with Lime
Not a lot of people like the pungent taste of cilantro but I do, I mean obviously:) If you want to learn how I make this super easy garlic cilantro – watch the video below. It’s super easy!
I used cooked long grain rice here. To cook the long grain rice, use 2 cups of rice and 4 cups of water over medium heat. Make sure you have the right fitting lid for the pot you’re using to make the rice. Optional: you can add about 1/2 tsp of vinegar to keep the rice nice and separated. Don’t worry – no one will know there’s vinegar in it:)
Garlic Cilantro Rice with Lime
Ingredients
- Olive oil or butter
- Salt to taste
- 3 Cloves of garlic chopped
- 1/3 cup Cilantro chopped
- 3 Cooked rice long grain
- 1/2 Lime
Instructions

On a hot pan (over medium heat), add about 2 tbsp of olive oil. Use butter if you want more flavor.

Add the garlic and saute until semi brown.

Add the rice and cook for about 3-5 minutes.

Squeeze about 1/2 a lime over rice. Add more if you need to.

Add salt to taste.

Turn off the stove. Add the cilantro. Mix and serve.
